She began her modeling career at the age of thirteen after signing a deal with Brandy Melville. For a year she freelanced as a model for small projects until Nous Model Management signed her when she was 14 years old and was immediately booked for an ad with ‘Seventeen’ magazine.

She wasn’t that famous until she posted on Tumblr about a photo shoot with Lucas Passmore at sixteen. Overnight, her Instagram account began bursting with followers and from a hundred thousand she went to a million followers.

Since then, she has accumulated more than eight and a half million fans, mostly young girls.

Thereafter, she worked with ‘We The Urban magazine’, ‘C-heads magazine’ and ‘Nextdoormodel’ magazine. She has worked for several brands such as – Forever 21, Tobi, Us Rags, Puma, Fox Head, Calvin Klein, Gooseberry Intimates, Loreal, Miss Holly, SweatTheStyle and A’GACI.

In 2014, she made her first runway debut at Los Angeles for ‘Sahara Ray Swimwear’.

One of her most famous campaigns have been Calvin Klein’s “Put It On, Take It Off’ video and in 2015 she made it to the Surfing Magazine’s swimsuit issue. She is most famous for her Bikini photo shots and might pose nude in future only if she considers it “tasteful” like ‘Vogue’.

Apart from having one of the hottest bodies, Alexis is irresistibly attractive. She has sharp features and beautiful skin. She has many young women who consider her their role model and follow her diet and daily regime meticulously.

She is grateful for her fans and the male attention she receives. However, she works really very hard to keep herself fit, as work doesn’t come easy and thus she spends around 2 hours each day toning her body.

She is humbled when fans come up to her on the street and allows them to take as many pictures as they want, as it gives her joy to make others happy.

When it comes to her diet, Alexis avoids bread, red meat and fast food. She prefers having a daily dose of fresh vegetables and fruits for all of her meals and stays clear of sugar and alcohol. She drinks plenty of water to keep herself hydrated and considers it an excellent skincare routine.

Apart from modeling, she loves drawing, guitar and dancing. In fact, she has been trained as a ballet dancer for 10 years. She also has three tattoos on her body, all of which is related to her mother. Alexis is an animal lover and has had dogs and cats for pets. She also trains in Pilates and Yoga for an hour each morning and eats dinner before 7pm.

She was born in Santa Monica on 23rd November 1996. Her father, Frank Gaylord, is a lawyer while her mother, Cynthia Gaylord, was a nutritionist. Her mother died in 2014 after battling the fourth stage of colon cancer for almost a year.

She grew up alongside three sisters and one brother. She is the middle child of five siblings. Alexis began her career at the age of thirteen and was homeschooled by her mother. In 2014, she was linked with the model, Jay Alvarezz. The two posted several pictures together and also came out in a music video for the song Hey by Fais feat. Afrojack. The two seemed to be a hot couple on social media, setting new couple goals every time they posted messages, pictures or videos to their social accounts. However, the entire buzz surrounding them fizzled out when both began posting cryptic messages for each other that finally ended with an ugly fight between them on ‘Twitter’.
