Popular for her work in Telugu cinema and Bollywood, she has appeared in a number of movies, such as ‘Nasha’, ‘Love Is Poison’, ‘Malini & Co.’, ‘Uvaa’ and ‘Aa Gaya Hero’. She has also done considerable work on television and has acted in the dramas ‘Total Nadaniyaan’ and ‘Pyaar Mohabbat Ssshhh’. Beginning her career as a model, Pandey was one of the top nine contestants of 2010 Gladrags Manhunt & Megamodel Contest. She has modelled for several calendars, including Gladrags Calendar and Kingfisher Calendar. She is the first model to ever go naked for Kingfisher. As a model, Poonam Pandey has worked for many magazines, companies and brands. She posed for Kingfisher and was the first Indian model ever to go naked for the company. Her first acting role came in 2013 when she played the role of Anita Joseph in the Bollywood movie ‘Nasha’. A year later, she made a special appearance in a song of the Kannada film ‘Love Is Poison’.
After this, Pandey did the Telugu film ‘Malini & Co.’ as well as the Hindi movie ‘Uvaa’ in 2015. During the same year, she also appeared in the TV shows ‘Total Nadaniyaan’ and ‘Pyaar Mohabbat Ssshhh’ as Jalebi Bai. Then the model cum actress made a special appearance in a song for the movie ‘Aa Gaya Hero’ in 2017.
