Poonam Pandey

Poonam Pandey was born on 11 March 1991 in Delhi, India. She has a brother named Nilesh as well as a sister named Shradhdha. Pandey was once rumored to be romantically linked with DIG (deputy inspector general) Paraskar.

As a model, Poonam Pandey has worked for many magazines, companies and brands. She posed for Kingfisher and was the first Indian model ever to go naked for the company. Her first acting role came in 2013 when she played the role of Anita Joseph in the Bollywood movie ‘Nasha’. A year later, she made a special appearance in a song of the Kannada film ‘Love Is Poison’.

After this, Pandey did the Telugu film ‘Malini & Co.’ as well as the Hindi movie ‘Uvaa’ in 2015. During the same year, she also appeared in the TV shows ‘Total Nadaniyaan’ and ‘Pyaar Mohabbat Ssshhh’ as Jalebi Bai. Then the model cum actress made a special appearance in a song for the movie ‘Aa Gaya Hero’ in 2017.

Poonam Pandey first came into the limelight when she promised that she would strip if the Indian cricket team won the 2011 Cricket World Cup. India lifted the cup, but the actress couldn’t fulfil her promise due to disapproval by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). A year later, she went naked after the Kolkata Knight Riders won IPL 5.

The model cum actress once again grabbed media attention when her movie posters of the film ‘Nasha’ were displayed on hoardings across the country. In these posters, Pandey was shown wearing nothing, with only strategically placed placards to cover her modesty. Protestors in Mumbai set her movie posters on fire in July 2013. Pandey then added more fuel to these controversies and launched her own website, where she uploaded her steamy bathing videos.
