In the judges' home round, she was mentored by Britney Spears, and sang the Avril Lavigne song 'I'm With You'. She performed 'Hey, Soul Sister' during the first live show on October 31, 2012, and on November 1, 2012, was sent home after Spears chose her competitor Arin Ray following a sing-off.

Within a week, on November 7, 2012, she re-entered the competition as a wild card and became part of the Top 13. On that episode, she again charmed the judges with her rendition of 'I Have Nothing' and advanced to the Top 12.

Her performance of the Beyoncé song 'Halo' on November 14, 2012 took her to Top 10, and on November 21, 2012, she advanced to Top 8 performing Celine Dion's 'Because You Loved Me'. However, on November 28, 2012 her performance of 'I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)' put her into the bottom two along with Vino Alan, though she was saved after she sang 'I Was Here'.
