Career
Katja Glieson started her career as a singer by performing live at various shows. She appeared at OC PRIDE, the annual LGBT pride festival CAPITAL PRIDE, and LA PRIDE in 2014 and performed on the main stages. She then appeared in the first episode of the YouTube rap battle series ‘Princess Rap Battle’. The series was producer by American producer Whitney Avalon. Glieson was featured in the episode ‘Snow White vs. Elsa’ in which she appeared as ‘Elsa,’ rapping with Whitney Avalon, who played ‘Snow White’. The video went viral immediately after its release and to date, it has registered over 177 million views, which is the highest recorded for any music video these two artists are associated with.
Post her ‘Princess Rap Battle’ success, Glieson released several singles including ‘Christmas Medley’ which registered over 27 thousand views on YouTube. She later enjoyed similar kind of response with her next music video on YouTube, ‘One Last Time,’ which was a cover of Ariana Grande’s original track.
