Fans would attest to the fact that Jenna Marbles rocks—just look at her colorful hair, innovative make up and stylish clothes! But did you know that before she became an internet sensation, Jenna was just another typical American girl; confused and insecure about her life. An animal lover to the core, she aimed to be a vet or zookeeper as a youngster. But that did not happen. What did happen were a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Suffolk University and Master of Education in Sport Psychology and Counseling from Boston University. However she graduated from college as confused as ever and found herself hopping from one job to another—as a bartender, blogger, and go-go dancer among others.

It was a job at barstoolsports.com that set the pace for her future career. Here she honed her skills in the arts of comedy, blogging, and video-making. After making humorous videos for a few years, she got a YouTube channel of her own and uploaded the video ‘How To Trick People Into Thinking You're Good-Looking’ in 2010. The video was an instant hit and it did not take long for Jenna to become a YouTube sensation.

Do we even need to tell you how unique Jenna is? Sure she’s pretty, quirky, and fun, but it is her honesty and vulnerability that makes her so endearing. As her fans know, she is the product of a broken home—just like millions of other Americans—and has been through pretty much the same stuff every youngster goes through. Despite all her popularity, she is someone we can connect with, someone whose life is fraught with the very same issues we face. She is frank and candid, she trusts us with the most intimate details of her life and that is exactly the reason we love her so much!

In addition to being a popular YouTuber, Jenna is also a businesswoman who runs a brand of dog toys called Kermie Worm & Mr. Marbles. A true blue animal-lover and the “mom” of three dogs—Mr. Marbles, Kermit, and Peach—she based the appearances of the toys upon her real dogs. Her dogs also feature prominently in some of her popular videos. The much loved celebrity also makes occasional appearances on television programs. An on-and-off vegetarian from long, Jenna Marbles announced in a video in 2015 that she was going fully vegan.

Jenna was born and raised in Rochester, New York. Her parents divorced when she was quite young, and since then she has been close to her mother Deborah who now serves as the chief executive officer of her daughter’s business. After graduating from Brighton High School in 2004, she went to Suffolk University and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She then proceeded to the Boston University for a Master of Education in Sport Psychology and Counseling. During high school, she met Willy whom she dated for four years before the two of them separated. She then went on to date Max Weisz for four years before breaking up in 2012. In 2013, she began dating her friend Julien Solomita who is also often featured in her videos. Jenna and Julien started the Jenna and Julien Podcast in November 2014.
