Dr. Heavenly Kimes, D.D.S., is an American dentist, author, inspirational speaker, businessperson, and reality TV star. She has recently gained popularity for her appearance in Bravo’s reality television series ‘Married to Medicine’. A native of Florida, she got her degree from Meharry Medical College and started practising dentistry in Duluth, Georgia. It has been a significantly profitable venture, earning her millions and eventually leading to her joining the cast of ‘Married to Medicine’. She had been a guest star in the first season but from season two onwards, she has appeared as a member of the main cast. As an inspirational speaker, she has created a curriculum based learning to help entrepreneurs garner knowledge about how to get their businesses started properly. Dr Heavenly also has a real estate certification, an insurance license, and a Series 65 certification. Career
After finishing her studies, Dr. Heavenly attended an AEGD program in Memphis, Tennessee. She then was employed as an associate dentist for three years. Subsequently, she set up her own practice, Smiles By Dr. Heavenly, in Duluth, Georgia. In time, it proved to be a highly successful venture, earning her millions in profits. With several years of experience, she is one of the most trusted and gifted dentists in Atlanta. As the CEO of her practice, she has expanded her business exponentially and opened over nine other branches, seven of which she has sold to date.
She has accumulated over 500 hours of Continuing Education credits and is a venerated member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Georgia Dental Society.
Furthermore, she was honoured with the Who’s Who Among America’s Top Dental Professionals accolade. For her work and achievements, she has garnered several awards. In 2004, Dr. Heavenly was the recipient of the Consumer Research Council of America’s Top Dentist Award. She was named as one of Atlanta’s Top Docs by On Common Ground News in 2010 and 2011.

In 2016, she launched a new dating app named PIQ.
Dr. Heavenly was a guest cast member in the first season of ‘Married to Medicine’, an American reality television series chronicling the lives of seven women from Atlanta. Some of them are the wives of doctors while the others are doctors themselves. The first season aired from March 24, 2013 to June 4, 2013. She was elevated as a member of the main cast from the second season onwards, which premiered on April 6, 2014. The show has been broadcast for five seasons to date and on April 11, 2018, it was renewed for a sixth season.

Heavenly was born on November 17, 1970, in Miami, Florida. Little is known about her family or childhood. After finishing high school, she enrolled at Florida’s A&M University, from where she earned her bachelor’s degree in biology with minors in chemistry and military science. She went on to attend Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee and graduated in the top 10% of her class with a doctorate in dental surgery degree in 1998.
Heavenly met her future husband, Dr. Damon Kimes, while they were both attending Meharry Medical College. He had gotten degrees in psychology and chemistry from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and was studying to become a pain and addiction specialist. Dr Kimes set up the Roswell Pain Specialists in Alpharetta, Georgia in 2011. They married right out of the medical college and have three children together, including a daughter named Alaura. The family resides in Atlanta, Georgia along with their three dogs.
