Quarrion Philips aka Que 9 is an American rapper who rose to prominence after his single "Splash" went viral. He later gained even more fame on social media networks after the hashtag #QueSplashChallenge was popularized. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Que9 developed his love for music at the age of one. He was always the center of attention everywhere he went and loved to perform in family gatherings and parties. Rise to Stardom
Que 9 was just one year old when he began to display his musical skills. He recorded his debut single at the age of four with the help of his uncle. He then sold CDs of his songs at malls and high schools. He eventually went on to participate in Detroit’s Before They Were Stars in 2011 and 2013 where he earned monetary gifts and trophies for his talent. In 2012, Que9 was featured in the year’s Keep the Schools Safe Tour, creating awareness about bullying in Detroit’s high schools. In 2015, he participated in the Summer Jam and was also a part of I Wanna See You Dance Tour. Also that year, the young rapper captured the attention of the independent label BMB Records which proceeded to sign him.
Till date, Que 9 has released a number of singles and albums. His EP, ‘Epidemic,’ is regarded as his biggest accomplishment till date. He has also uploaded his songs on his channel on YouTube. Two of his most popular music videos, 'Que9 "FaceTime" [Official Video]' and 'Que9 "Red Light Green Light" [Official Video],' are much entertaining to watch.
