Career
Lil Key began rapping at a very young age. At the age of 15, he participated in a church talent show and has since never stopped rapping. He launched his debut album ‘My Life Volume 1’ and gained name and fame with the album’s debut track "Backpack Flow." In 2014, he became the brand ambassador for Shoe City, a locally based retailer. The same year, the rapper released his second studio album titled 'Street Certified 2'.
On February 5, 2016, he premiered his new video titled "Love to Hate Me" on Yahoo.com. The following year, Key came up with his new track called “Shorty right There”. He also appeared on the 2nd season of the reality TV competition ‘The Rap Game’ that airs on the Lifetime TV network.
Till date, Lil Key has also released a few music CDs, such as "Key Mix", “Key 2 Success: My Life Vol. 2” and “My Life” that contain amazing tracks with inspiring lyrics. Some of his most popular songs are “Champion”, “Foam City,” “Struggle,” and “Thank You”. Every year, the artiste performs at more than 100 events.
