Eben Franckewitz is an American pop singer best recognized as a former member of the band ‘Far Young’ and the youngest contestant to become a top 12 male finalist on the reality competition show ‘American Idol’. Till date, he has released many singles including "#Everything" that became an immediate hit on social media. Franckewitz began his career by performing in community events and theater shows when he was six. He then went on to join Far Young and later pursued a solo career in 2015. Since then, he has been active as a solo pop singer and continues to attract people with his amazing and unique voice. He was born in Brandon, Florida and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. Career
Eben Franckewitz began performing at the age of six, first appearing in community functions and theater shows. In 2012, he got a career boost when he participated in the 11th season of ‘American Idol’ and created a record of becoming the youngest contestant to be a top 12 male finalist. He then went on to join the boy band Far Young alongside Christian Wossilek and Jackson Owens. The band sealed a deal with Global Entertainment and released their debut single "#Everything". This song became an instant hit on social media and brought Franckewitz moderate fame.
Leaving Far Young in 2015, Franckewitz embarked on his solo career. In 2018, he started touring with Why Don't We. Also, at the beginning of the year, he released his debut EP titled “Finally” followed by the single “Lambo”. His follow-up EP titled ‘Past Hundred Days’ came out on 21 August 2018 and went on to peak at #2 on the iTunes Pop Chart. Currently, Franckewitz is busy with a few music projects which are slated to be launched in the near future.
Franckewitz is also active on YouTube under the name ‘EBEN.’ He launched his channel on January 2, 2013 and has been uploading his official music videos on it. As for now, the pop singer’s YouTube channel has accumulated over 27k subscribers.
