Career
Clark Duke started his career at a very early age by appearing for commercials for different brands including an ad campaign for Toyota. He first ventured into the show business in 1992 when he was just seven years old. He appeared as a child actor, portraying the character of ‘Elliot Hartman’ in the American sitcom ‘Hearts Afire’ alongside John Ritter and Markie Post. Clark played one of the main characters in the show between 1992 and 1995. His performance earned him a lot of praise from the critics and the audience and helped him bag a nomination for the ‘Outstanding Actor Under Ten in a Television Series’ at the Young Artist Awards.
After his stint in ‘Hearts Afire’, he took a break from acting to complete his education and came back to make a small appearance in an episode in the American procedural forensics crime drama television series ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’. He later created a web series titled ‘Clark and Michael’ along with his friend Michael Cera; he wrote the scripts, directed, co-produced as well as played a fictional version of himself in the series.
In 2007, he was signed to play the role of ‘Dale Kettlewell’ in the American comedy-drama television series ‘Greek’, appearing alongside Tiffany Dupont, Scott Michael Foster, and Spencer Grammer. He played one of the lead roles in the show and was a regular between 2007 and 2011.
He made his film debut in 2007, making a small appearance in ‘Superbad’. His first big role in a film came a year later when he appeared alongside Josh Zuckerman and Amanda Crew in the sex comedy film ‘Sex Drive’, portraying the character of ‘Lance Johnson’. Clark appeared in the black comedy superhero action flick ‘Kick-Ass’ alongside Aaron Johnson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Mark Strong, Chloë Grace Moretz, and Nicolas Cage and also appeared in its second segment ‘Kick-Ass-2’ later in 2013.
After establishing himself as a fine comedian, he continued getting good offers. In 2012, he appeared alongside Eddie Murphy in the comedy-drama film ‘A Thousand Words’ as ‘Aaron Wiseberger’. He made eight appearances in the 2014 season of ‘Two and a Half Men’ as ‘Barry Foster.’ In 2015, he appeared in the American comedy film ‘Hot Tub Time Machine 2’, having previously made an appearance in the first part of the film in 2010 playing the character of ‘Jacob’. The ‘Greek’ actor has also featured as a voice artist in the animation film ‘Croods’, voicing the character of ‘Thunk’.

After completing his schooling, he took a break from acting and went to the Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California, to study filmmaking. He has always maintained a very private life away from the limelight and didn’t let his early success make him complacent.
