Career
Brian met his troupe mates while in high school, during freshman year. They found out that they have this common interest for drama and decided to form a group cultivating their improve skills. They wanted to name the group with a word that was silly and that made people uncomfortable. They settled on the word Tenderloins and named the group so.
The four high school mates drifted apart after graduation, each deciding to do their own thing. Brian attended Brooklyn College and after that joined the Fire Department, New York, as a Firefighter. He worked at the Ladder Company 86/Engine 166 for seven years. He still occasionally returns to meet with his FDNY colleagues.
Brian and his troupe mates reunited once again in late 1990s and decided to take their talents in improve to the mainstream. The ‘Tenderloins’ started meeting at Joe Gattos place to hone their skills several times each week and after six months, they began their live show journey in 1999. They performed improve and sketch comedy continuously for a few years around the country in various cities like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Miami.

In the show, Brian and his friends made use of hidden camera to prank and play jokes on complete strangers as well as on others. They also introduced dares where they will challenge common people, each other as well as celebrities to take up some crazy act as a dare. Each episode ended with the jokers with most amounts of failures to undergo a punishment that is decided by the winning joker. These punishments become the stuff of the myths as each one came out as far crazier than the previous one. The show currently airs on TruTV and is running the seventh season. It also runs on other networks in different countries such as Canada, Australia and India.
Brian also started doing podcasts actively with other members of the group from 2012. The podcasts are popular downloads at the iTunes stores. Brian Quinn has also joined as the presenter of other popular podcasts. The show runs on SModcast Podcast Network and is called ‘Tell 'Em Steve-Dave!’. Brian is the third host of the podcast which regularly features various personalities from the field of comedy and improv.

He entered into an altercation with the police and was punched in the face by a German police officer knocking his teeth out. He was thrown in jail but was later bailed out by his teammates.
