The Meteoric Rise to Stardom
Alex Aiono initially used to perform on the streets of Santa Monica. When he was 19 years old, he released his debut single titled ‘Doesn't Get Better’. Shortly after, he released his debut EP titled ‘Young & Foolish’. He then created his YouTube channel and started uploading his songs and music there. People began enjoying his work and this gave him much the needed exposure and also a platform to showcase his talent. In 2013, he toured with the Back Street Boys, the Wanted and R5. The following year, he performed live on the Sirius XM radio and his song ‘Alphabet Soup’ earned more than 40 million views on YouTube. This in turn brought considerable name and fame to Aiono and he got established as a successful singer. As a result of his popularity, he got the chance to appear on Awesomeness TV’s famous show ‘The Royal Crush.’ In 2016, Aiono started developing ‘flipped’ versions of songs. His work ‘Hasta el Amanecer’ earned him more than 50 millions views. Then he signed with the Interscope Records in early 2017. In January 2017, he released his single titled ‘Work the Middle’ followed by the single ‘Question’. All these projects made Aiono popular, both as a singer and a social media star.
