Who is Travis Fimmel?

Travis Fimmel is an Australian actor and former model popular for his performances in the TV series ‘The Beast’ and the movie ‘Warcraft.’ As a young man he was unsure about what profession to pursue. However, after spending time travelling in Europe and Asia, he realized his passion for acting and headed for Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. Soon after a modeling agency discovered him, the green-eyed hunk started appearing in videos for Jennifer Lopez and Janet Jackson. While he has modeled in ads for Gap and L’Oreal, it was his high-profile Calvin Klein ad campaign that made him world famous. Best known for co-starring opposite late Patrick Swayze in the TV series ‘The Beast’, Travis had to struggle for years before his hard work eventually paid off. He landed some significant roles as Ragnar Lothbrok in the History Channel series ‘Vikings’ and as Anduin Lothar in the movie ‘Warcraft.’ Travis also played the lead role of John Clayton in the series ‘Tarzan’ produced by Laura Ziskin. His supporting role opposite Matthew McConaughey as Johnny Doran in the Anchor Bay Entertainment film ‘Surfer, Dude’, and his role in the independent feature film ‘The Baytown Outlaws’ earned him critical acclaim.
