Jackie Sandler is a well-known American actress and model, but she is more popular as the wife of actor, comedian, and film producer, Adam Sandler. Raised a Christian, she married Adam Sandler, in 2003, and converted to his religion Judaism. They have two daughters. As an actress, Jackie shot to fame by playing Martha in ‘Hotel Transylvania’, and a masseuse in ‘That's My Boy’. She also appeared in the film ‘50 First Dates’, ‘Just Go with It’, ‘Grown Ups’ and ‘Grown Ups 2’. From an early age, she dreamed of becoming a model and started pursuing a part-time modeling career while she was still in high school. Career
Jackie Sandler started her modeling career in Brazil immediately after leaving high school. In fact, she had started taking up modeling assignments during her high school years. Eventually, she became nationally and internationally famous and modeled for several big companies. However, before she could reach the peak of her career, she left modeling and started acting.
In the late 1990s, the American actor, comedian, and director Rob Schneider introduced her to the acting world. Jackie debuted in the 1999 hit film ‘Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo’, in which she played Sally. After the success of this film, Rob Schneider recommended Jackie to his friend, Adam Sandler, who offered her the role of a waitress in the film ‘Big Daddy’ in 1999. She was also a music assistant in the movie. In 2000, she appeared in the film ‘Little Nicky’ along with Adam Sandler. In 2002, she played her first major role as one of the main characters, Jennifer, in the animated film, ‘Eight Crazy Nights.’ In 2003, she played the role of a bartender in Danny DeVito’s film ‘Duplex’.
In 2004, she was featured in the hit comedy/romance movie ‘50 First Dates’. Adam Sandler was also a part of the movie. He had demanded a role for his wife as well, so the director, Peter Segal, gave the role of the dentist to her. In the same year, Jackie starred as herself in the TV episode, ‘VH1: All Access: Celebrity Weddings’.
Although she has not played lead roles, she still has a number of films and TV shows to her credit. Some of these are ‘Hotel Transylvania’ in 2012, in which she did voice acting, and ‘The Do-Over’, ‘The Goldbergs’, and ‘Kevin Can Wait’ in 2016. Her parents divorced in the 1990s after long-drawn divorce proceedings that dragged for around seven years. Although Jackie was once close to her father, today she remains estranged from him. She attended Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School along with actor, writer, and producer Chris Marrs Piliero; musician and songwriter Ian Grushka; and actor and producer Jarrett Grushka.
She met the actor, comedian, screenwriter, and film producer Adam Sandler on the set of ‘Big Daddy’ in 1999. In 2001, they came together in a relationship and got engaged. They married on June 22, 2003. Jacqueline, who was raised a Christian, converted to Adam's religion, Judaism. The couple’s first daughter Sadie Madison Sandler was born on May 6, 2006 in Los Angeles and their second daughter Sunny Madeline Sandler was born on November 2, 2008.
