Ella’s first screen appearance was in the role of Haley in the 2011 TV movie ‘Last Man Standing’. In the same year, she made her debut in a full-length feature film playing the role of Jamie in the football drama ‘Touchback’ starring Kurt Russel, Brian Presley, Melanie Lynskey and others. That experience proved to be crucial in Ella's career. "It was on that set that I decided that I wanted to be an actress for the rest of my life," she is reported to have said. "Once we wrapped, I couldn't wait to get back on set again." In 2012, she was seen in two episodes of Disney Channels ‘ANT Farm’ as also in the feature film ‘The Giant Mechanical Ma’ which got very favorable reviews.
