Dina Eastwood is an American reporter and TV news anchor best known for starring in the American reality documentary television series, ‘Mrs. Eastwood & Company.’ She is also the former wife of American actor, filmmaker, musician, and political figure Clint Eastwood. A graduate in Broadcast Communications from San Francisco State University, she initially worked as a reporter in commercial television station, ‘KNAZ-TV,’ licensed to Flagstaff, Arizona, in the US. Later she served the station as news anchor. Thereafter, she worked as a news anchor at the dual NBC/ABC-affiliated television station, ‘KSBW,’ licensed to Salinas, California. Besides co-hosting the famous American hidden camera reality television series ‘Candid Camera,’ she has also hosted the TV show ‘A Quest for Excellence.’ She serves on the board of two non- profit charities, hosted the ‘Eagle Invitational Golf Tournament’ and worked as contributing editor for ‘Golf Digest Women.’

Childhood & Early Life
Dina was born Dina Marie Ruiz on July 11, 1965, in Castro Valley, California, US, to Michael Ruiz and Mary Lou Ruiz.
She was raised in Fremont, California, US, where she attended Mission San Jose High School. Following her high school education, she attended several colleges, starting with the Ohlone College, in 1983. Around the same time, she anchored Newsline for Ohlone College Television. She also attended the Arizona State University in Tempe for some time.
In 1988, she completed her graduation obtaining a degree in broadcast communications from the ‘San Francisco State University.’
Career
She joined ‘KNAZ-TV’ in Flagstaff, Arizona, in 1990, as a reporter. She later started serving as a news anchor. After around a year, television station, KSBW, in the Monterey-Salinas, California market inducted her as a news anchor. In 1997, she took retirement from KSBW to devote more time for her husband and newly born daughter.
She was the host of the ‘California Teachers Association’ produced television show, ‘A Quest for Excellence,’ in 1998. The show, where she was credited as Dina Ruiz Eastwood, aired on different Bay Area stations. It featured celebrity interviews apart from highlighting the aspects of education system of the state and the daily challenges faced by students, teachers, and administrators.
The 1999 mystery drama, ‘True Crime,’ directed by her then husband, Clint Eastwood, featured her in a short role of a reporter. She again appeared in a brief role of a reporter in yet another Eastwood mystery thriller film, ‘Blood Work,’ that also starred the latter.
In 2003, she co-hosted the Episode #7.1 of the popular and long-running American hidden camera reality TV series, ‘Candid Camera.’ The following year she again co-hosted another episode of the series titled ‘Mother's Day.’

In 2009, during the shooting of Eastwood’s biographical sports drama film, ‘Invictus,’ she discovered a cappella/vocal band called, ‘Overtone,’ originating from Johannesburg, South Africa. Eventually the band contributed many of her movie soundtracks.
Starting from February 8, 2011, she "guest-anchored for KSBW", the 5 pm aired newscast with weeknight anchor Dan Green. Again, beginning from November 11, 2013, she anchored the 5 pm newscast for a couple of weeks.

Personal Life
As recalled by Clint Eastwood, Dina met him in 1992, during an interview with him for ‘KSBW-TV.’ The two tied the knot on March 31, 1996, and on December 12 of that year, they were blessed with a baby girl, Morgan Eastwood.
Dina had to join a rehabilitation centre in April 2013 because of depression and anxiety. In August 2013, she revealed that she had been living separately from her husband for an undisclosed period of time. On October 22, she filed for divorce.
She married the retired American–Australian basketball player and coach Scott Fisher, in July 2016.
