Britt Robertson is an American actress who is known for her stellar performances in various movies and television shows. She aspired to become an actress after watching television soaps as a kid. After a period of brief struggle in Los Angeles, Britt Robertson was selected to play a role in the film ‘The Ghost Club’, which released in 2003. Since then, she has acted in over a dozen films and television shows and has come a long way, in terms of her career. She has shared screen space with legends like Julia Roberts. Recently, she was seen along with Hollywood heartthrob George Clooney in the 2015 flick ‘Tomorrowland’ which made waves globally. Childhood & Early Life

Britt Robertson was born on April 18, 1990 in Charlotte, North Carolina, to Beverly and Ryan Robertson. She is the eldest of the couple’s seven children.

Her family relocated to South Carolina, where she grew up till the age of 14. According to sources, Britt Robertson was moved by the flick ‘Pretty Woman’ and dreamt of an actress. However, she claims that the soaps she watched on a regular basis influenced her to pursue a career in acting.

Later on, she moved to Los Angeles, where she tried her luck at the auditions for various television projects. She was selected for a role in a television series, but unfortunately the project never saw the light of the day.

Career

Luck favoured Britt Robertson soon after and she bagged a role in the 2003 movie ‘The Ghost Club’. A year later, she was seen in the flick ‘Growing Pains: Return of The Seavers’, in which she played Michelle Seaver. This film was aired on the television channel ‘ABC’, in late 2004.

In 2007, she was seen in the comedy-drama flick ‘Dan In real Life’, in which she played renowned actor and comedian Steve Carell’s daughter. The film turned out to be a successful venture at the box office.
