Britt Robertson is seeing well-known actor and musician Dylan O’Brien. They met each other on the sets of the film ‘The First Time’, which was being filmed in 2011.
She was quite attached to her grandmother, who also accompanied her during her first few auditions. However, since the age of 16 Britt Robertson has been staying alone.
In an interview, Britt Robertson said that the friends she made in LA were her family, who even cooked for her and made her stay in the city totally comfortable.
Britt Robertson was born on April 18, 1990 in Charlotte, North Carolina, to Beverly and Ryan Robertson. She is the eldest of the couple’s seven children.
Her family relocated to South Carolina, where she grew up till the age of 14. According to sources, Britt Robertson was moved by the flick ‘Pretty Woman’ and dreamt of an actress. However, she claims that the soaps she watched on a regular basis influenced her to pursue a career in acting.
Later on, she moved to Los Angeles, where she tried her luck at the auditions for various television projects. She was selected for a role in a television series, but unfortunately the project never saw the light of the day.
Luck favoured Britt Robertson soon after and she bagged a role in the 2003 movie ‘The Ghost Club’. A year later, she was seen in the flick ‘Growing Pains: Return of The Seavers’, in which she played Michelle Seaver. This film was aired on the television channel ‘ABC’, in late 2004.
In 2007, she was seen in the comedy-drama flick ‘Dan In real Life’, in which she played renowned actor and comedian Steve Carell’s daughter. The film turned out to be a successful venture at the box office.
She essayed the role of Trixie Stone in the 2008 film ‘The Tenth Circle’, produced by the American television channel ‘Lifetime’. The movie was an adaptation of famous writer Jodi Picoult’s acclaimed novel of the same name.
In the same year, she was also seen in two other television projects, namely ‘Swingtown’ and ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’.
During the period 2009-12, Britt Robertson was a part of the cast of several television projects. These included ‘Law & Order: Criminal Intent’, ‘Three Rivers’, Avalon High’ and ‘Life Unexpected’.
The highlight of Britt Robertson’s career is the 2015 Hollywood blockbuster ‘Tomorrowland’, in which she was seen along with legendary actor George Clooney. In an interview, George Clooney had immensely praised Britt Robertson’s acting skills and her fine performance in the flick.
