Like any other average teenager, he was just going about his everyday routine when one day his picture went viral on internet. He was clicked when he was working part time as a cashier in a Target store near his house.

As it turned out, it was shared by a teenage girl on her Twitter account which surprisingly spread like wildfire. People started looking for his social media accounts and soon, his accounts were flooded with followers and friend requests.

In no time, Alex became an internet sensation and when he came to know about it, he was astounded. However, when his new found stardom started to mess around with his personal space, he knew he had to do something about it.

He dropped out of high school and hired a manager in order to handle his modelling, acting and singing offers that he had started receiving from various media houses.

Alex LaBeouf has denied rumors of him establishing a career in the entertainment field by saying that he cannot see himself acting or performing on stage. Despite his statement, there have been numerous rumors about him starring in movies and TV shows.

Alex kept receiving hundreds of tweets every day from his fans and one of those tweets was from the talk show host Ellen DeGeneres who invited him for an episode in her show. Alex gladly accepted the offer and his decision went on to place him in the limelight as Ellen’s show is one of the most popular TV shows in the whole of America.

On the show, Alex came across as a shy and awkward teenager which made him even more popular among girls as they found that characteristic of his to be attractive.

Not surprisingly, his fame was short lived as he did nothing to sustain it. After a few months, the buzz that this youngster had managed to create faded away and nobody heard anything from him. However, he still enjoys a huge fan following across several of his social media accounts.

Alex had a YouTube channel back in 2014. After closing it down for several reasons he has now restarted his channel with the name ‘Alex Lee’, in which he posts his Vlogs. On 14 October, 2017, he uploaded his first video, ‘RIP #AlexfromTarget’ on the channel. The video amassed a little more than 10,000 views.

Every now and then, he appears in the videos of other popular YouTube stars.

Alex was born to Marci and Eric Lee in Texas on 21 January, 1998. He spent most of his time in Texas before moving to Los Angeles at the time he became famous.

His family is very conservative and is yet to accept the fact that Alex has become famous. They are also worried about his safety, as he often gets death threats and hate letters.

He met Kelsey Carpenter, a struggling actress, soon after he moved to Los Angeles. They both lived in the same building and started dating right away. Kelsey often features in Alex’s videos and in his photos that he posts on Instagram.

Interestingly, there was a time when rumors about Alex being gay started making rounds across social media platforms. Though Alex did not pay attention to the rumors, he officially announced his relationship status with Kelsey which put to rest all the rumors regarding his sexuality.
