Alex Hook is a Canadian actress who gained fame after portraying the titular character of Frankie Gaines in Nickelodeon’s series ‘I Am Frankie.’ She was introduced to the field of acting in a local musical theatre when she was a child. She later made her debut in 2012, appearing in a guest role in the TV series ‘Motives & Murders: Cracking the Case.’ It took her a few years to establish herself. Alex Hook started her acting career with a local musical theatre where she performed for several years. She then approached SoHo Management and entered the TV/film industry with the help of her agent. Hook debuted with a role in a commercial for The Family Channel. After a period of time, she appeared in a guest role in an episode of the series ‘Motives & Murders: Cracking the Case’. In 2014, the actress appeared in a minor role in the drama series ‘Handsome Devils’. Two years later, she got featured alongside Sascha Radetsky and Amy Acker in the holiday flick ‘A Nutcracker Christmas’.
