Troydan - Twitch Star, Life Achievements and Family

Troydan was born Bryan Warren Barrister on September 15, 1987, in Toronto, Canada. As a kid, he developed a liking towards basketball and used to watch ‘The National Basketball Association’ (NBA) games.

During his school days, he started playing video games related to basketball and NBA in particular. He then came to know about Twitch, where his friends were streaming video game videos.

He then started exploring social media and fell in love with the idea of streaming videos of his favorite content. After streaming a few interesting videos through Twitch, he started gaining a fan base, which encouraged him to explore other social media platforms. His Twitch account, ‘TroydanGaming,’ currently has more than 367,000 followers.

He created his first YouTube channel on January 22, 2006, and started posting interesting videos. Apart from uploading videos related to ‘NBA 2K,’ he also started uploading challenge videos in order to keep his viewers guessing.

His channel currently has more than 1.2 million subscribers and over 322 million views. It is one of the most popular video game related YouTube channels in Canada. Some of the most viewed videos on this channel include ‘NBA Live Mobile Pack God? Baller Packs,’ ‘Trash Talker Insults U.S. Soldier on Mycourt NBA 2K16,’ ‘Black vs White Kid,’ and ‘Can These Girls Dunk in a Video Game?’

He created his Twitter account in April 2009. Since he was already famous on social media, his Twitter account started gathering followers. Thanks to his interesting posts and random thoughts, his Twitter account currently has more than 160,000 followers.

He then created his Instagram account, which currently has over 78,000 followers. Being an ardent basketball fan, he has posted pictures, clicked along with the likes of Shaquille O'Neal on his Instagram page. He has also posted several other basketball-related photos and videos.

After gaining prominence as an internet celebrity, Troydan decided to create another YouTube channel to post reaction videos, and set-up his second YouTube channel ‘Troydan Reacts’ on June 29, 2016. This channel too is pretty popular among his viewers, as it has already accumulated more than 330 million views with more than 897,000 subscribers.

Some of the most viewed videos on this YouTube channel include ‘Don't Trust People Online,’ ‘Impossible Try Not to Laugh Challenge,’ ‘NBA Stars Playing Fortnite,’ ‘2018 Japan Dunk Contest,’ and ‘What is a Lil' Tay?’

Apart from video games related to NBA, Troydan is also a huge fan of games related to ‘Madden NFL.’ He has posted several ‘Madden NFL’ videos on Twitch and YouTube. Troydan is a full-time gamer and YouTuber as he makes a living out of social media.

Troydan has a bad temper, which is pretty apparent in his videos. He tends to swear a lot while commenting on his favorite video games. He is a huge fan of fellow social media star Rachel DeMita, and has even posted a video titled ‘NBA2K16 - Rachel Demita Jump shot Challenge.’ He currently lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
