Who is SubZeroExtabyte?
SubZeroExtabyte or Sub is an English YouTube gamer. He has gained fame as a contributor to the collaborative channel, ‘The Pals’, as well as for his personal channel, ‘Sub’, where he posts 3D animations of the popular video games Minecraft and Roblox. He is also a well-regarded parody producer, director, and thumbnail artist. Known for using Google Text-to-Speech screen reader application instead of speaking in his videos, Sub is one of the most popular Minecraft YouTube stars. He created his YouTube channel in January 2012 under the username MayaTOOTS. He later started creating Minecraft and Roblox animation videos with fellow YouTube star and gamer Sk3tch, who is now known as Sketch. After their collaboration ended, Sub reintroduced his channel as SubZeroExtabyte. In time, that channel evolved into a collaborative effort between Sub, Sketch, Denis, Alex, and Corl. Its name was promptly changed to The Pals and it has garnered nearly three million subscribers and over one billion views to date. In July 2016, he created his personal channel Sub where he has 1.5 million subscribers and more than 360 million views to date.

Sub created the YouTube channel which would become The Pals on January 24, 2012, under the username MayaTOOTS. He posted the first video on February 1, 2013. Titled ‘Minecraft - 10+ Ways to Kill a Creeper in Style!’, it has garnered over 230 thousand views to date. In those early days of his YouTube career, MayaTOOTS served as Sub’s main channel. He uploaded sporadically, only posting eight videos in the first two years of the channel.
He then began a collaborative effort with Sketch, who used the username Sk3tch at the time, and renamed the channel SubZero & Sketch. After Sketch left, the channel was renamed once more, to SubZeroExtabyte. Eventually, other Minecraft and Roblox YouTube stars such as Denis, Corl, Alex, and Flebsy joined Sub to rebrand the channel as The Pals. It is primarily a Roblox gaming channel. Sketch later returned to the channel. At present, the channel receives hundreds of thousands of views on each of the videos. The most popular video on the channel is ‘Roblox Adventures - Murder in the Bathroom! (Roblox Murder Mystery)’, with over 17 million views.
