Samgladiator was born Sam England on September 5, 1991, in the United States of America. He spent most of his childhood with his sister. He attended a local school, before enrolling for college studies, where he acted in short films produced by fellow students.

He started playing video games at a very young age. At the time of setting-up his YouTube channel, he had decided to make use of his passion for video games by posting game-related content on his YouTube channel.
