Richmond Lockwood Sexson is an American former baseball player. He had played for five teams in his career which lasted for eleven years. He is known for being one of the tallest position players ever. Born in Portland, Oregon, he was proficient in several sports such as baseball, basketball and football from a very young age. He set the school record for the most RBI and home runs as well. At the age of nineteen, he was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 24th round of the baseball amateur draft. Later he was traded off to the Milwaukee Brewers. He played for the team for around three years before being traded off to the Arizona Diamondbacks. After playing for them for two years, he signed a $50 million contract for four years, with the Seattle Mariners. After his release from the Mariners, he started playing for the New York Yankees. However, they released him after a very short time.

  Richmond Lockwood Sexson was born on 29th December 1974 in Portland, Oregon, in the US. He studied at Prairie High School located in Brush Prairie, Washington. He was proficient in sports such as baseball, basketball, and football and was an All-State Performer. He also set the record for the most home runs and RBI in his school.

  In 1993, at the age of nineteen, Richie Sexson was drafted during the baseball amateur draft by the Cleveland Indians. He proved to be a very successful player over the next few years. The year 1999 proved to be a breakout year for him, as he scored 31 home runs, with 116 runs batted in a total of 134 games.

  In 2000, he was traded off to the Milwaukee Brewers. The following year proved to another amazing one as he scored 45 home runs, tying the record set by Gorman Thomas of the Brewers in 1979.
