RiceGum - Youtubers, Family and Personal Life

Like any normal teenager, RiceGum loved playing video games. After setting-up his own YouTube and Twitter account in his early teens he started posting gameplays of ‘Call of Duty’ while talking about himself.

His first video upload was Mw3 Gameplay ‘Lifestory:BabySitting:Ricegum’. In November 2012, he entered in a partnership with Machinima (global YouTube gaming network). He collaborated with Mia Khalifa on Twitch stream at the age of 18.

On 8th December 2015, he uploaded his first roast video "These Kids Must Be Stopped" criticizing child web-stars Jacob Sartorius, Hunter Rowland and Loren Beech. In this video, he criticized these teenagers and children for posting their dance and music videos which had sexual connotations. He even enacted how his mother would react if he did such activities thus being judgmental about parenting of these child stars. The success of this video led to a series which became viral on social media. These videos received varied reactions and views from the fans and heightened his popularity.

At present, he has more than 5 million subscribers on YouTube and about 3 million Instagram followers. Financial analysts have estimated that RiceGum earns around $115,000 per month though he just jokes about his finances.

RiceGum had roasted 10 year old singer, Alabama Parker, (daughter of singer Travis Parker) in his video blog stating her actions were inappropriate for her age and criticized her upbringing and lifestyle harshly. Her father and step mother reacted instantly by getting this video removed from YouTube.

Recently another recent controversy cropped-up when video blogger, Gabbi Hanna, posted a video claiming that RiceGum had physically assaulted her and destroyed her cellphone. She further went on to post a video of the wounds inflicted by RiceGum on Snapchat. Strangely this tiff led to increase in numbers of her subscribers and decrease in number of RiceGum's followers. RiceGum accepted that he trashed the cellphone but added that the wounds were actually stretch-marks. The viewers have voiced that he could have dealt with the issue in a more polite manner and that he was too caustic. Although she has not filed a legal suit but has asked for the compensation of her cellphone. Further. he has been banned from Twitch for showing a BB Gun in one of his videos.

RiceGum was born on November 19, 1996 at Las Vegas. He comes from an economically modest household, and lives with his parents and siblings somewhere in Nevada.

He has uploaded many videos describing his parents to be loving and caring. He keeps his private and professional life separate to avoid exposing his family to vulgar comments from other YouTubers.

Although his mother wanted him to be a doctor, he focused more on developing an internet career. In many video posts, RiceGum states that living with parents is beneficial as one does not need to pay the rent. However, in a one of his videos posted in January 2017 he has stated that he is thinking about moving to his own place and also shared some of his preferred houses and localities.

RiceGum claims that he did not have any partner or girlfriend till date but confirms his sexual orientation as straight.
