Almatar Travel Group, the leading travel company in Saudi Arabia, has signed a technology agreement with Sabre Corporation, a software and technology provider in the global travel industry. The agreement includes the use of Sabre’s technology and solutions to drive operational efficiency, advance virtual payments strategy, and enhance traveller experience. The deal was signed during the Saudi Tourism Forum in Riyadh. Almatar Travel Group will have access to Sabre’s extensive travel ecosystem, which includes air, lodging, ancillary, and NDC content, as well as Sabre Red 360, an innovative technology and intelligent platform. Furthermore, Almatar will deploy Sabre Virtual Payments (SVP) to enhance the value of its B2B payments. The technology will provide payment flexibility and control, increased fraud protection and security, accurate reconciliation, better automation, and efficiency. Sabre’s Vice President for Travel Network Middle East, Abdul-Razzaq Iyer, praised Almatar’s innovation and partnership.

This will enable Almatar to differentiate its offerings and compete more effectively, expand its online travel business and grow faster in the region.

Almatar Travel Group will deploy Sabre Virtual Payments (SVP), a payments solution, to enhance the value of its B2B payments and provide payment flexibility and control, increased fraud protection and security, accurate reconciliation, better automation, and efficiency.
