Morgana McNelis is an American jewelry designer who is best known as the longtime partner of British actor Charlie Hunnam. She prefers to stay away from media attention and rarely accompanies her husband to the red carpet of award shows and other events. She runs the Los Angeles-based jewelry company, Maison De Morgana, which boasts of an impressive list of celebrity customers like Hunnam's co-stars on 'Sons of Anarchy', Winona Ryder and Maggie Siff, as well as Zac Efron. Morgana McNelis entered the fashion industry as a model and later became a metal-smith after taking a class on crafting jewelry. She developed unconventional methods that have now become her signature style. Her first business venture was a jewelry store that she co-owned with her sister Marina Milori. However, launched during the economic downturn in 2007, the shop failed to net profit and was eventually shut down – an experience that taught her a lot and prepared her for her later ventures.
In 2012, she combined her fashion industry experience and training in jewelry design and launched her own jewelry line, Maison de Morgana. She introduced the haute noir world of the jewelry line with her 'Black Magik 2012' collection of rings, bracelets, earrings and necklaces made exclusively of high-quality brass and white bronze. For the macabre, neo-gothic collection, she drew inspiration from her namesake and legendary sorceress of Arthurian legend, Morgana La Fey, to Francis Ford Coppola's 'Dracula'.
