In 1999, the actress appeared in an episode of ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’. The following year, she did the American TV miniseries ‘Arabian Nights’. Then after appearing in an episode of ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’ once again, Avital got featured in the American movies ‘The Human Stain’ and ‘When Do We Eat’. Soon after this, she portrayed the character of Cordelia in Patsy Rodenburg’s play ‘King Lear’.

In the year 2007, she was cast as Miri Calderone in the Israeli flick ‘Noodle’. Two years later, she played the recurring role of Nurit Halvei-Zach in the Israeli TV drama series ‘Prisoners of War’.
