Marianna Palka first wrote the short film ‘By My Very Self’ which was based on her sister and father. She then wrote another flick ‘For My American Friends’. After this, she acted in the play ‘The Lonesome West’. In 2006, Palka did another play titled ‘Dublin Carol’ that was staged at Ensemble Theatre Company. The following year, she starred in the TV series ‘Drunk History’ and ‘Derek and Simon’.
Soon after this, she wrote, director, produced and starred in the flick ‘Good Dick’. Palka then was cast in the short film ‘Betty File 43’ in 2009. A year later, she got featured in the movie ‘Neds’ as well as in the play ‘Love, Loss, and What I Wore’. After this, she acted in the independent film ‘Restive’ and the short film ‘Insane’ in 2011.
Two years later, the Scottish star did the short films ‘The Price We Pay’ and ‘Slice’. She then appeared as Soko's Kisser in the short flick ‘First Kiss’ in 2014. That year, she also wrote, produced and starred in the documentary short ‘The Lion's Mouth Opens’. In 2015, Palka was cast in the movie ‘Forever’.
