Jonah KittiesMama rose to fame after featuring on their family YouTube channel KittiesMama. However, the channel was not originally created with an audience in mind; rather, his mother merely wanted to share a video with her husband, showing him their cat Sylvester's first hunt. His older brother Noah previously attended a regular school, but after he faced issues like bullying, the family went for homeschooling. They also mentioned that there are not many good Christian schools in the locality. His brother Noah and his sister Emma started attending regular private schools in early 2017, but Jonah is still being homeschooled. Fans speculate that he may be homeschooled for his health issues or his short stature, which might make him more susceptible to bullying. He is quite short for his age, and also has a kidney problem.

Jonah is currently dating a girl of his age, whose name is Paige. They met during one of their homeschooling sessions and eventually became romantically involved. Paige is often seen spending vacations with their family, and as such became a regular face on their videos after they started dating. Paige sent Jonah a sweatshirt via mail as a gift even before they met.
