Who is Javier Bardem?
Spanish actor Javier Bardem is one of the most well-known actors in the global film industry due to his exemplary body of work in Spanish and English films in a career that has stretched for over two decades. Javier Bardem hails from an influential Spanish film family; his mother and grandparents were actors and his uncle was a renowned screenwriter and director. Initially, Javier Bardem wanted to be a painter but once he had decided to ditch the painters’ brush for the camera, his life turned around and he became one of the most well-known faces in world cinema even without appearing in Hollywood for a long time. ‘Jamon Jamon’ is one of his earlier Spanish films that made him an internationally noted actor of rare talent but his inability to speak English made him unsuitable for many projects that came his way early on in his career. Bardem learned English and then made his foray into English language films. His performance in the 2007 film ‘No Country for Old Men’ is regarded as the most important role of his career due to the menace that he brought to the screen in his portrayal of a cold blooded assassin.
