Who is Jack Barakat?
Jack Barakat is a popular Lebanese-American guitarist who gained popularity following his guitar performance within his well acclaimed band “All Time Low”. Founded back in 2003 as “NeverReck”, the band was started by two music enthusiastic school friends - Jack Barakat and Marc Shilling. Barakt soon roped in a drummer, Yanni Giannaros, and another school friend (now lead vocalist at All Time Low) Alex Gaskarth into the group. The band started out by visiting songs by pop punk bands such as Blink-182 as well as, writing and composing their own songs. The Maryland quartet that started off as a nerdy school band, transformed into an official band named “All Time Low” in 2004. The all-boys band got their first successful break after the release of their very first studio album “The Party Scene” in 2005. Thereafter the group went on to enjoy the success & stardom with several songs that grabbed the #1 spot on the US charts.

Childhood & Early Life
Jack was born on June 18, 1988 in Lebanon to Bassam and Joyce. Jack’s family migrated to Baltimore, Maryland, when he was just an infant. He has three more siblings - Joe, May, and Leeyh. Owing to his good looks and charm, Jack is often referred as the ‘Lebanese Prince’ by his parents. Jack had an inclination towards music from a very early age so it was no surprise to his family when he chose music as his career.
Journey to Stardom
’All Time Low’ gave Jack everything he ever aspired for including name, fame and money. Soon after their launch in 2004, the band become immensely popular among the emo-pop music fans and this band of boys became a household name. Whether it was their first hit single ‘The Party Scene’ or the songs that followed, Jack and his entourage never disappointed their fans.
Jack’s list of hit singles include “Somewhere in Neverland”, “Poppin’ Champagne”, “For Baltimore”, “I Feel Like Dancin'”, “A Love Like War”, “Kids in the Dark”, and “Something’s Gotta Give”. Along with his best friend and band member, Alex Gaskarth, Jack also used to host radio show named Full Frontal.
