Ana Delia De Iturrondo - Fitness Trainer, Timeline and Family

Ana Delia began her career as a model at the age of 13. Simultaneously, she devoted her time to sports like swimming, skating, and gymnastics. She always dreamt of representing her country as a sportswoman and this dream of hers became stronger when she was selected to be a part of the Puerto Rican national skating team. She also represented her country as a professional athlete in Columbia. However she could not pursue her career as a professional athlete because of domestic problems. Her parents separated and Ana moved away with her father. Though Ana Delia achieved a lot during her youth, it was not a smooth journey. She had to deal her parents’ divorce, her father’s death and her brother’s untimely demise. But the chink in her armour was hardly visible as she took to a rigorous fitness regime. Eventually, her hard work paid off and she was selected by a top modelling agency in America.

Ana Delia packed her bags and flew to Miami to chase her dreams. She met numerous body builders and athletes who encouraged her to realise and live her dream. With immense determination and support of her dear and near ones she became a top class bikini athlete. Her first success came in 2011 when she was placed 2nd in NPC NY Metropolitan Tournament.

From 2011 till 2013 Ana Delia participated in 14 competitions, won six competitions and came 2nd thrice. Her greatest moment of glory came in 2013, when she was declared 1st (Pro Card) in NPC Team Universe & Fitness National Championships. After this tournament Ana left competitive sport and concentrated on becoming a fitness instructor. When she was 33, she earned IFBB Pro Card, a dream for any professional athlete.

Today, she is an acclaimed fitness icon, with her videos going viral over internet. She has a following of countless fans for her incomparable physique and a healthy lifestyle she follows. Her workout regime is something to wonder at.

Ana was born in San Huan in Puerto Rico, and brought up in Morovis. As a child she exhibited interest for sports and athletics. Her natural lean figure helped her in developing skills as an athlete, swimmer, gymnast, and even a ballet dancer. She had exceptional talent in skating and even represented Puerto Rican national team.

Her domestic life was far from peaceful, and her parents separated when she was still a child. Ana moved away with her father and concentrated on her sports. But ill luck struck her and her father died of cancer. This was a depressing phase in her life, and she took log to overcome it. She gave up athletics and concentrated on modelling. She worked hard to become one of the top models in America. Once again misfortune fell and her brother died in motorcycle accident. This left Ana totally depressed and dejected. Through encouragement and determination she emerged as a top most bikini athlete and iconic fitness instructor.
