Mariale Marrero began her YouTube career in 2010 when she started her YouTube channel Makeuplocalypse, now renamed to Mariale. Today, her channel has everything that’s concerned with beauty, makeup, and fashion along with fun challenges, food videos, technology-related videos, reaction videos, and vlogs. As of June 2018, the beauty guru has uploaded more than 800 videos to this channel. Talking about the channel’s popularity, it has accumulated over 9 million subscribers and more than 780 million total views.
In January 2011, Marrero launched her second channel titled SinPatuque. Although she started the channel as a personal vlog channel, she later converted it to a daily vlog one. From shopping and travel time stories to personal life videos, this channel has thousands of vlogs on it. As of June 2018, this vlog channel has amassed over 3.5 million subscribers. It also has more than 290 million total views.
In 2012, Marrero began a new channel titled ‘Mar’ on the social platform. Featuring content in the English language, this channel has everything related to beauty, fashion and lifestyle for the English-speaking audiences. Mariale Marrero was born as Marialejandra Marrero Ramos on March 21, 1991 in Caracas, Venezuela. She has a biology degree from The Simón Bolívar University. Coming to her love life, the beauty guru began dating her now-husband Luis Valera in 2007. They got married in October 2013. The couple was residing in Los Angeles, California as of 2016.
She was nominated for Venezuela’s newspaper El Nacional’s Twitter Award in 2012. She won the Venezuelan “Cacique de Oro” award for best Venezuelan Influencer in 2016, and the following year, she was nominated for an MTV Millennial Award in the "Styler del Año" Category.
