Hilaria Lynn Thomas was born on January 6, 1984, in Majorca, Spain. She spent her childhood in both the United States and in Spain.

During her childhood, she studied flamenco, ballet and gymnastics. When she was 13, Hilaria began international Latin ballroom dancing.

She majored in art history and dance from the New York University. She started teaching Yoga in 2005.

She co-founded ‘Yoga Vida’ right after finishing her education. She opened her first ‘Yoga Vida’ studio at West Village and conducted 36 classes a week!

Hilaria started her career as a yoga instructor. Before ‘Yoga Vida’ became famous, she would go about dropping flyers in and around New York City as part of her advertising campaign.

Her popularity increased when famous journals like the ‘New York Times,’ ‘Elle,’ and ‘Yoga Journal’ started writing articles about her and her expertise in yoga, especially ‘Prenatal Yoga.’ She was also featured as fitness authority in famous American talk shows.

Hilaria made use of her popularity and released a DVD titled ‘Home with Hilaria Baldwin’ in October 2013. The DVD was targeted at pregnant women as it was a complete guide about practicing ‘Prenatal Yoga’ for a happy and healthy pregnancy.

In December 2016, she released a book titled ‘The Living Clearly Method.’ Apart from explaining the benefits of yoga, the book also has delicious recipes, timesaving tips, and information about meditation.

Though Hilaria Thomas is a successful entrepreneur and an established instructor, there is no denying the fact that her marriage with Alec Baldwin played a critical role in making her what she is today.

After a two-month long engagement, Hilaria and her then boyfriend Alec Baldwin decided to tie the knot. They got married at ‘The Basilica of Saint Patrick's Old Cathedral’ in New York City.

Post her wedding, Hilaria began to hog the limelight, thanks to her actor husband. She used her newly-gained fame to promote healthy lifestyle and wellness. She also opened another ‘Yoga Vida’ studio in NoHo, Manhattan.

Hilaria gave birth to Carmen Gabriela Baldwin on August 23, 2013, when she was 29 years old. Two years later, her son Rafael Thomas Baldwin was born. On September 12, 2016, Hilaria and Alec welcomed their third child, Leonardo Angel Charles Baldwin.

Hilaria spends most of her time in looking after her kids as she embraces motherhood wholeheartedly.
