William Bradley Pitt was born to a truck company owner, William Alvin, and his wife, Jane Etta, a counsellor in a school, on December 18, 1963, in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He later settled down in Springfield, Missouri with his family consisting of two other siblings, Doug and Julie Neal.
The young boy pursued his secondary education from the 'Kickapoo High School'. In school, he showed interest in co-curricular activities like swimming, acting, golf, tennis, and debates. In 1982, he joined the ‘University of Missouri’, to study journalism, with a specialisation in advertising, but quit two weeks before graduating.
