Amanda Holden has appeared in many stage musicals till date. One of her best stage performances was in ‘Thoroughly Modern Millie’ for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Theatre Award in 2004. She then played Princess Fiona in ‘Shrek the Musical’. Amanda Holden was born as Amanda Louise Holden on February 16, 1971 in Bishop’s Waltham, Hampshire, UK, to Judith Mary Harrison and Frank Holden. She has a younger sister named Debbie. She studied at Swanmore Secondary School (present day - Swanmore College) and later attended Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.
Coming to her love life, the British actress married comedian Les Dennis in 1995 and divorced him in 2003.
In 2006, she gave birth to her first child, daughter Alexa Louise Florence Hughes, with her then-fiancé Chris Hughes. The couple married two years later on 10 December 2008. Holden gave birth to Hughes’ second child, son Theo Hughes, in February 2011. Unfortunately, the child was stillborn. She then gave birth to his third child, daughter Hollie Rose Hughes, the following year.
