As a basketball player himself, he has led his AAU level basketball team to the fourth grade national championship in Kentucky in July 2014. Both his parents were athletic kids in high school; while his father played basketball and football, his mother played softball and was also a cheerleader. His parents started dating when they were only 17 and 16 years of age, and got married on September 14, 2013 in San Diego, after being together for 12 years. His mother became pregnant with him when she was in the middle of her senior academic year of high school, and he was born when his father was 19 years old and his mother was only 18. He has a younger brother named Bryce Maximus and a younger sister named Zhuri. While his father has been ranked as one of America's most influential and popular athletes, his mother is also a socialite who has gathered a sizeable fan following on social media. His parents also own the furniture line called Home Court by LeBron James.
