KPopp, also known as Kelly or PoppKell, is a YouTube gamer. Life turned for young Kelly when she started her journey in social media. Having launched her channel way back in 2006, it was only in 2010 that she got started officially. With a gaming video, Kelly commenced her career as a gamer on YouTube. And the rest as they say is history. Today more than 500K subscriptions in the kitty, Kelly has come a long way since her first subscription which made her jump with joy, excitement and thrill. KPopp is one of the many rising talents on the social media circle today and her journey is indeed an extraordinary one. It all commenced after she opened her YouTube account on February 18, 2006. Starting it off with a sports’ video, KPopp, who was a teen then, showed off her skateboarding trick called ‘Nose Stall’. Interestingly, KPopp did not catch on the social media fever for quite long after her initial debut. In fact, as unbelievable as it may seem, there was a four year gap between her first and second upload. However, her second upload, a gaming video that came in 2010, made her incredibly famous on YouTube. KPopp then switched to gaming commentary for ‘Call of Duty’, ‘MW2’, ‘Let's Plays on Heavy Rain’, ‘Red Dead Redemption’ and hilarious glitch videos. Subsequently, she began uploading Let's Plays and playthroughs on action-themed, mystery-themed and shooter-themed videos, including ‘Justice in Pike's Basin’ live commentaries, flash games and other types of games such as ‘Façade’.
A declared Potterhead (Harry Potter official fan name) and Tribute (The Hunger Games official fan name), it was while reading the second book of the Hunger Games trilogy that KPopP was struck with the idea of The Sims 3 Hunger Games. Knowing it would be fun, she worked hard to create a series that was loosely based on the films and the books. Finally, she succeeded in making a Sims 3 interpretation. The Sims Hunger Games developed is based more on luck and chance for the most part. The participants are allowed to play free-will and very rarely controlled.

KPopp was born as Kelly L Popp on November 18, 1989 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. There is no information about her parents or siblings. As a child, Kelly was friendly but extremely mischievous and playful. In high school, Kelly became famously known as the prankster. In one of her Bully livestream, she stated how she along with her friend flooded a school restroom while flushing an apple in a pot, in an attempt to disgust the cheerleaders.
In another video, she stated how she escalated the volume of the techno music in her car, which led to her losing her vehicle’s side view mirror. KPopp’s love for gaming started when she was young. Playing MS-DOS games, Gameboy, Atari and SEGA accentuated her love for gaming such that she turned it into a profession.
Talking of her romantic interest, KPopp is in a relationship with a guy named Alexander. She first met him in Georgia, US, in 2011. Incidentally, after Alex visited her house, he found himself robbed. Thereafter, the two started living together in a rented house in the woods. In 2014, KPopp and Alex were arrested for possessing marijuana. Though they were bailed out after a night in prison and a fine of $35000, the incident has caused a red blotch on their career which they are usually quiet about. Currently, she lives in with her boyfriend Alex and has two cats named NomPopp and Cat7thst.
