As his family members are from the film industry, he was exposed to the entertainment world from early childhood and he was encouraged to pursue acting. After appearing in some commercials, he made his acting debut with a TV series, followed by a horror comedy film, ‘Tales of Halloween.’ His portrayal of ‘Eddie Kaspbrak’ in the film ‘It,’ and that of ‘Young Alex Riley’ in TV comedy series ‘Me, Myself and I,’ earned him a lot of appreciation. Jack Grazer was born on September 3, 2003, in Los Angeles, California, US, to Gavin Grazer and Angela Lafever. Jack’s father, Gavin, is an actor-director and his uncle Brian Thomas Grazer is a movie producer in Hollywood. Thus, Jack grew up in a family with film-production background. His grandparents are Arlene Becker Grazer and Thomas Grazer, a criminal defense attorney.
For his school project, ‘Family is Family,’ he filmed a documentary, which won him ‘Best Documentary Award’ in his school.
Career
Grazer has appeared in a number of commercials. His first acting ventured happened with a 2014 TV series ‘The Greatest Event in Television History.’ This was followed by a guest role in the 2015 comedy ‘Bang, Bang!’
He made his movie debut with the 2015 horror comedy anthology film ‘Tales of Halloween.’ He was invited to the ‘Adderley Repertory Theater Ensemble’ program and worked in some of their productions.
The film adaptation of Stephen King’s novel ‘It’ (2017) was Grazer’s first major studio movie. This horror film proved to be commercial success and his portrayal of ‘Eddie Kaspbrak’ brought him fame and recognition. He appeared opposite Bill Skarsgard.
In 2017, he appeared in another film, ‘Scales: Mermaids are Real.’
He essays a recurring role in the CBS comedy series, ‘Me, Myself and I.’ He plays the role of ‘young Alex Riley’ in it.
His forthcoming ventures are ‘Beautiful Boy,’ and ‘Shazam!’ The latter is a superhero film in which Grazer plays a friend of the superhero, who eventually becomes a hero himself. The movie is still at filming stage. He will also appear in ‘It: Chapter Two.’
Personal Life
Grazer practices Kempo. He enjoys boogie boarding, surfing, creative writing, and script writing. He likes to shoot videos with friends and publish them online. In future, he plans to write, direct and produce films, along with acting.
