Grapeapplesauce is the online alias of American YouTube star Sean, who is best known as one of the most popular Minecraft commentator and regularly plays and uploads mainly Minecraft videos on various game modes like Minecraft Skywars, Minecraft Murder Mystery, Minecraft Bed Wars, Minecraft Hunger Games, and Minecraft UHC. He is a member of both the UHC and Cube SMP Rosters and is the owner of the CoveMC server. He is also a member of the Cube Vanilla SMP server. He is the creator of Team Flux, a competitive PvP Team, which originally consisted of Grapeapplesauce, Huahwi, CreeperFarts, PrivateFearless and Solrflare, and was managed by Dfield. Along with his Team Flux teammate, PrivateFearless, he participated in the 'Hunger Games Tournament' as team 'Doy Doy', which won all the three rounds of Survival Games to win the tournament. He also won three seasons of Cube UHC: seasons 7, 13 and 14. While he mainly uploads Minecraft videos on his YouTube channel, he plays other games as well and live-steams them on his Twitch channel. Rise to Stardom
Grapeapplesauce joined YouTube on July 6, 2011 and started uploading the series 'Minecraft Hardcore Survival' on August 28, 2012. The other game he initially played was the first-person survival horror video game 'Slender: The Eight Pages'. By his 18th birthday, he had already gathered 1100 subscribers, whom he thanked in a vlog. He started to get regular subscribers in 2013.
He also used to sell satellite dish subscriptions at Dish TV, but because his tight schedule at work prevented him from uploading videos on his channel regularly, he decided to quit his job and become a fulltime YouTuber, which he announced on January 19, 2015. By the end of the year, he had reached 300k subscribers. His subscribers repeatedly asked him for a room tour and setup video, which he eventually did on January 2, 2016. Grapeapplesauce previously played on Hive and then moved to the Minecraft Survival Games server, but later switched back to Hive due to the rising amount of hackers and the MCSG disguise bug. He has only missed season one, however, he was invited to compete in that season, but he missed out because he overslept.
