Bing goes beyond: OpenAI's GPT-4 integration 1

Microsoft has confirmed the integration of OpenAI’s ChatGPT technology into Bing search engine, which will be powered by OpenAI’s latest large language model, GPT-4. This upgrade enables Bing to provide users with more efficient and accurate search results, generating comprehensive and conversational answers to user queries. GPT-4 is a hybrid training system that is trained with around 100 trillion parameters, making it more creative and collaborative than GPT-3, which uses around 175 billion parameters. Users who want to experience the new GPT-4 technology can do so by signing its preview, which Bing AI has included as a part of its functionality. OpenAI’s latest multimodal large language model is currently being deployed by its ChatGPT chatbot, and it uses much vaster data parameters than GPT-3, bringing in improved inputting methods, algorithms, parameterization, and alignment. The AI race is heating up, with several players in the industry rushing to develop their own tools to overtake Alphabet’s Google as the most preferred search engine in the world.

Microsoft Utilizes OpenAI’s GPT-4 on Bing Search Engine

Microsoft has confirmed that it is going to integrate OpenAI’s ChatGPT technology into its search engine Bing. The new Bing platform will be powered by OpenAI’s latest multimodal large language model, GPT-4, which is the fourth model in the GPT series. OpenAI’s generative text chatbot will help generate comprehensive and conversational answers to user queries.

Initially, the tool ran on GPT-3, which is a neural network trained by using internet data of around 175 billion parameters to generate any type of text. However, OpenAI has upgraded its technology to GPT-4, a hybrid training system trained with around 100 trillion parameters. The latest GPT-4 model claims that the platform is more creative and collaborative than ever before.

The integration of OpenAI’s GPT-4 model into Bing will allow users to make more efficient searches. The new AI-powered Bing makes the utilization of ChatGPT’s latest technology. However, GPT-4 is inclusive of several modifications to the model to make it suitable for search and public utilization.

Users who are willing to use the new GPT-4 experience on Bing can do so by signing its preview. According to Bing, the new Bing AI has the utilization of ChatGPT version 3.5, but this variant is more capable, accurate, and efficient than the version of ChatGPT that can also be used in OpenAI’s free-for-all public prototype.

OpenAI’s latest product, GPT-4, is currently being deployed by its ChatGPT chatbot. The latest multimodal large language model not only uses much vaster data parameters of 100 trillion compared to GPT-3’s 175 billion, but also brings in improved inputting methods, algorithms, parameterization, and alignment.

The AI race is heating up with several players in the industry rushing to develop their own tools to overtake Alphabet’s Google as the most preferred search engine in the world. Last month, Google made the big announcement of its own AI-powered chatbot called Bard to rival ChatGPT.
