He gained popularity with his first YouTube Channel called ‘lifewithjc’ that he launched in September 2010. He also gained a fan base while participating in another YouTube channel called ‘our2ndlife’ or ‘O2L’ which was formed as a collaborating group by him and other stars of YouTube like Connor Franta, Trevor Moran, Kian Lawley, Sam Pottorff and Ricky Dillon. The Meteoric Rise to Stardom
From just another young lad in the neighbourhood, he gradually became a sensation with his sheer talent and determination. Millions of fans would vouch for this cool dude who flashes funky and wild hairstyles and toys around with different kinds of hats. His love for filming and his natural and witty comic timings landed him up in the right career path in 2010 when he launched his first YouTube channel ‘lifewithjc’ in September 2010. He also became member of another YouTube channel ‘O2L’ formed by several YouTube stars including his best friend Kian. There was no looking back after that. Gradually he gained popularity and a huge fan base and with time he became a well-known YouTube star with many other channels like ‘jccaylen’ and ‘theseDudez’. ‘O2L’ ended its journey in December 2014 with its stars concentrating on their own individual YouTube channels. On July 27, 2014, he along with Kian Lawley created a YouTube channel titled ‘KianandJc’. On January 19, 2015, the duo posted a popular vlog and from then on the channel has garnered over one million subscribers.

Later he legally changed his name to Justin Cloud Caylen. He has three siblings, a brother Joe Felix and two sisters, Ava Grace and Jaylyn. He got his nickname Jc, which he prefers to use, while he was studying in Grade 3. One of his YouTube videos, “10 questions for mom” featured his mother.
He has been in an on-and-off relationship with actress and fellow YouTube star Lia Marie Johnson. At present he lives in Los Angeles.
