Once the Vehicle Performance Testing lab completes a specific test, an engineer in the Driver-in-the-Loop lab climbs into the simulator to run driving tests on a specific vehicle incorporating those brakes in various road conditions. The facility’s cutting-edge technology allows GM to test just about any scenario or vehicle part virtually before it ever hits the road.
