Revolutionizing the Market: Audi's All-Electric Future!

Audi is making a significant move towards sustainable, emission-free transportation by transitioning to purely electric vehicles from 2026. The German-based company plans to introduce 20 new models from 2025, with ten of them being purely electric cars. Audi is considering several upcoming projects, including the Q6 E-Tron, Sportback version, A4 E-Tron, and A6 E-Tron, all of which are purely electric cars set to hit the roads in 2024. The new, highly anticipated, compact electric vehicle from Audi will be released in 2027 and is expected to turn the compact car market around. The car will be available in at least two body types and can have versions with one or more motors, providing a more powerful all-wheel-drive system. The car will offer a maximum autonomy of up to 700 km, a significantly greater measure than almost all electric vehicles currently on the market. The battery in this new SSP platform will allow for reduced recharging times, enabling large powers of up to 270 kW.

Audi Announces Transition to Purely Electric Vehicles and Plans to Introduce 20 New Models

Audi, the German-based company, has revealed its plan to transition to purely electric vehicles from 2026. As part of this plan, the company aims to introduce 20 new models from 2025, with ten of them being purely electric cars.

In the short term, Audi is considering several upcoming projects, including the Q6 E-Tron, Sportback version, A4 E-Tron, and A6 E-Tron, all of which are purely electric cars set to hit the roads in 2024.

However, the most recent and highly anticipated project is the unprecedented vehicle that Audi plans to release in 2027. This vehicle, which will be similar in size to the current A3, will also have 100% electric power and is expected to turn the compact car market around.

Although the official name for this vehicle has not been announced, sources suggest that it could be called the A3 E-Tron. This new electric compact vehicle will not be based on the VW Group MEB platform but will have a new Scalable Systems Platform (SSP) architecture. With an 800-volt electric architecture, this new vehicle will allow for large powers of up to 270 kW, reducing battery recharging times significantly.

The interior of the new electric compact from Audi is expected to have similarities with the Q4 E-Tron, and the car will offer impressive charging times. With just a ten-minute charge from an ultra-fast station, the vehicle could have enough energy to travel about 100 km.

In a recent press conference, Audi CEO Markus Duesmann announced an electric entry model “below the Q4 E-Tron,” with the head of technology, Oliver Hoffmann, being more specific and indicating that this model will be unprecedented below the Q4 and the “A3” segment.

Audi’s move to purely electric vehicles is a significant milestone in the automotive industry, with the company setting an ambitious goal to have 50% of its sales being electric cars by 2025. With its new lineup of electric cars, Audi aims to revolutionize the market and lead the way in sustainable, emission-free transportation.

Audi’s New Electric Vehicle Will Offer Impressive Range and Body Types

Audi’s upcoming electric vehicle with compact dimensions is generating significant interest, and details about its battery and body type have recently emerged. The car will offer a maximum autonomy of up to 700 km, a significantly greater measure than almost all electric vehicles currently on the market.

The electric vehicle will be available in at least two body types: a five-door sports car called the Sportback and a more spacious sedan-type body with a door. As is typical of purely electric vehicles, the new compact model from Audi will have various versions with one or more motors, providing a more powerful all-wheel-drive system.
