She studied at the ‘Marryatville High School.’ She received training and also performed in the ‘Youth Circus School’ called ‘Cirkidz’ at Adelaide. She began participating in this troupe from the age of 9 and performed for 7 years, and also, was a part of five major productions. She was accomplished in trapeze, acrobatic pitching and hula-hoop. Along with physical part, the theatrical aspect and story-telling were also important parts of the performance.

Cobham-Hervey co-founded an Adelaide based circus group, ‘Gravity And other Myths’ in 2009. She co-devised a show ‘Freefall’ for this circus group and in 2010, her show won the ‘Best Circus’ award at the world’s second largest annual art festival, ‘The Adelaide Fringe Festival.’ (This festival features more than 5,000 artists from around Australia and world, and is conducted for 31 days and nights during February and March every year.) In 2011, her circus show won the ‘Tour Ready Award’ at the same festival. It won ‘Best Circus Award’ at the ‘Melbourne Fringe Festival’ in 2011 and she earned the ‘Best Emerging Circus/Physical Theater Performer’ award at the same festival.

She performed in a show ‘The Age I’m In,’ which was a part of Sydney and Adelaide festivals. Along with this show, she toured around Australia (17 cities) and also in Ireland, Canada and Korea.

Cobham-Hervey made her debut in ‘Closer Productions’ feature film ’52 Tuesdays’ (2014) in the role of ‘Billie.’ (She also works with the ‘Closer Productions’ on cross art form installations.) Her entry in the cinema field was quite unplanned. She had accompanied a few friends to an open audition for this Sophie Hyde feature film and the 16 year old Cobham-Hervey got the lead part in it. This film fetched her nominations for ‘Australian Film Critics Association Award’ for ‘Best Actress’ and ‘Film Critics Circle of Australia Award’ for ‘Best Performance by a Young Actor.’ The film was awarded the ‘Crystal Bear for the Best Film Generation 14plus’ at the ‘Berlin Film Festival’ (2014).
