Rachel Crow is very close to her younger sister.
Rachel is highly secretive and does not like to talk about her relationships.
Rachel Crow was born on January 23, 1998, in Colorado, US, to Kelly and Barbara. Rachel started developing an interest in music at the tender age of 3. Rumors claimed that she was adopted by Kelly and Barbara. However, such rumors have not been proved.
According to her parents, she started singing soon after she spoke her first words. This early interest led her to become increasingly inspired by the mainstream Hollywood lifestyle. Although singing was always her first career choice, she focused on her acting abilities too and performed in many plays during her elementary school days.
She started performing live at the age of 6 and exhibited incredible self-confidence, which also helped her when she auditioned for TV roles at the age of 7.
Although she was mostly rejected in the auditions, she did face the camera with the series ‘In from the Night’ and ‘Three Wise Guys.’ In 2010, she appeared in a tiny role in the TV movie ‘Pizza & Karaoke.’
Her major career breakthrough happened in the year 2011, when the American version of ‘The X Factor’ debuted on TV. She performed the song ‘Mercy’ in her audition and both the judges and the audiences loved it. This early impression on the judges was expected to earn her sure-shot success in the show.
She performed beautifully during the early stages. However, she finally succumbed to pressure and was eliminated toward the end of the show. She was ranked 5th overall.
The loss did not hurt Rachel that much, as her scintillating performances and enigmatic screen presence had already made her a national star.
Soon after her ouster from the show, she announced that she had signed with ‘Columbia Records’ and that she would soon be releasing her debut EP, which would contain five songs. She also co-wrote one of the songs in the album.
She also announced that she had signed a deal with ‘Nickelodeon,’ a kids’ entertainment channel. Apart from that, she was part of the 2012 ‘Summer Tour’ of the band ‘Big Time Rush’ and acted in the TV series ‘Fred: The Show.’
