Paloma Jiménez

Paloma Jiménez was born on August 22, 1983, in Acapulco, a city and major seaport in the state of Guerrero on the Pacific coast of Mexico. She has been with Diesel, who is 16 years older than her, since 2007. They have three children together, daughters Hania Riley (born April 2008) and Pauline (March 2015), and son Vincent Sinclair (2010). Pauline is named after family friend and Diesel’s ‘Fast and Furious’ co-star Paul Walker who died in a tragic accident in November 2013.

Paloma Jiménez is an accomplished model in her own right. Before quitting the glamour world to raise a family with Vin Diesel, this classic Mexican beauty was a prominent fixture in her country’s fashion scene. She has been the brand ambassador of some of the most well-known international companies, including the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer Honda, soft drink company Coco Cola, and hair care brand Pantene.

In 2005, she was featured on the cover of the January issue of the Mexican edition of ‘Maxim.’ A year later, she graced the cover of ‘Max’ magazine. She attended the Ready to Wear – Spring/Summer fashion show in the same year as well, walking the ramp for the likes of Alberto Rodriguez, Carlo Demichelis, Citrico, Guillermo Vargas, Hector Terrones, Jorge Castellanos, Lily of France, and Roberto Villareal. She made an appearance on the Mexican comedy and variety show ‘Otro Rollo’ in 2014.

In 2016, several reports published on unreliable news outlets citing dubious sources alleged that Diesel had cheated on Jiménez, his partner of nine years. The reports further claimed that after finding out about the affair, she was considering going back to modelling and “taking back control of her life”. Diesel was supposedly afraid of losing her. Eventually, a representative for Diesel spoke to the reporters about the rumours, stating that the story was not true and the talk that they are having problems in their relationship is “falsehood”.
