Mattia Dessi

Mattia Dessi was born on October 22, 1978 in Sardinia, Italy. He met the famous actress and his future wife, Brigitte Nielsen, on April 12, 2004 in a Switzerland hotel at Lugano where he was employed as a bartender. Sparks flew between the couple and they hit it off. Brigitte was previously married four times and has four sons: Juliann, Killian, Douglas, and Raoul. She went on to marry Mattia in July 2006 at a beach-side ceremony in Malta. The ceremony was held at the five-star Radisson SAS Golden Sands Resort & Spa.

It was recently announced that the couple is expecting their first child as Brigitte announced on Instagram that she is pregnant. Nielsen has also credited her sobriety to Mattia as she suffered from an alcohol addiction for most of her public life, even checking into a rehab when her family intervened. Brigitte Nielsen met Mattia Dessi in 2004, when he was employed as a bartender in a hotel in Switzerland. The local news reports suggested that they met each other in the city of Lugano.
